Toilet with oblique release: design features and benefits (21 photos)

Options toilet bowls, which can be selected on the modern market plumbing, more than enough. On the one hand, it certainly pleases, but, on the other hand, it creates a problem of choice for the buyer. Of course, he would like to familiarize himself with the rating of toilet bowls in order to choose not just a good, but preferably the best toilet. However, given the huge number of models of such equipment for toilet rooms, it is easy to choose, and get lost in such a variety. The rating of toilet bowls is an intractable task and can be considered correctly set only if it is known exactly what a particular consumer needs, what financial possibilities he has, and what are the conditions for his living. In order not to spend too much time thinking, choosing the right system, first of all, the buyer should become familiar with what distinguishes a toilet bowl with a compact type tank from a toilet bowl with a monoblock tank, or what is the difference between a circular flush and a straight line, or what is better - a slanting outlet or vertical etc.

What are the types of toilet bowls?

First of all, this equipment is divided into different types, taking into account:

  1. The shape of the bowl, which can be funnel-shaped, visor or dish-shaped.
  2. Type of flush (straight or circular).
  3. Construction of the release into the sewer, which can be horizontal, vertical, oblique.

It should be noted that the connection of a toilet with a slanting release in most apartments of the Russian Federation is not a very difficult task, since it is the angular release, also called a slanting and usually carried out at an angle of 45 °, is the Russian standard for standard toilets.

Mounting method

There are floor-mounted and attached toilets installed on the floor, and there are suspended ones.

Option of fixing and positioning the tank

For example, distinguish:

  • toilets with cisterns distant to some distance from them;
  • compact toilet bowls in which tanks are attached directly to them;
  • toilet monoblock;
  • toilets with hidden cisterns;
  • toilets without cisterns.

The latter type of toilet bowl relates to a relatively new type of sanitary equipment, most often used in public toilets. In this case, the water for draining is supplied directly from the pipeline, and the flow rate is controlled by means of a mechanical valve, often controlled by an electronic circuit.

Installing a toilet with oblique release

Inclined at an angle in comparison with other types of it creates a lower value resistance to passing sewage. As a result: such toilet bowls rarely get clogged, and, consequently, less often there is a need to clean them. In addition, installation, for example, a toilet bowl with a compact tank, is simpler if the compact is connected to the sewer network at an angle, but for this, of course, a similar toilet bowl with a tank must have a slanting outlet.

The following is information that may be useful to those who are interested in how to install a toilet with an oblique release yourself. And, in particular, a toilet with a compact tank, having the highest sales rating almost everywhere. Install such plumbing, mainly using one of the three methods described below.

Direct connection

This method can only be used if all the axes of the output and input sockets perfectly match, and you do not have to move the fixed plumbing to achieve this. Here it is important at the initial stage to correctly calculate everything so that after connecting the toilet to the sewage system, it can be correctly and securely fixed (without shifts) on the floor. With direct connection, it is used to connect the toilet to the sewage of the cuffs, which is different: its shape and the type of sealing pads required depend on what kind of sewer pipes are - plastic, or cast-iron? In general, everything is simple, if the correct positioning of the attachment points of the toilet bowl was made: you need to smear the toilet outlet with soapy water or shampoo, then push it into the opening of the cuff installed before it. Then it remains only to securely fix the toilet on the floor.

Using eccentric

In this case, a socket is used with an installed gasket and an eccentric inside the outlet, which can be rotated to match the toilet outlet exit with the sewer inlet.

The use of an eccentric makes it possible to connect the toilet to the sewage system even if there is a slight discrepancy between the outlet axis of the toilet bowl and the axis of the inlet of the socket coming from the sewer.

Using corrugations

The eccentric, mentioned above, makes it possible to mount the toilet in the presence of relatively small displacements (up to five centimeters in both directions), but the use of corrugations provides much more opportunities, allowing, for example, even to unfold the toilet to 90 ° relative to the sewer socket. Although this method is cardinal, it is used only when connecting using the first two methods is impossible.

If you decide to purchase a toilet with an oblique release, then we recommend first of all to pay attention to compact toilet bowls that have the highest sales rating. We also advise first of all to pay attention to those firms that take into account Russian standards for connecting plumbing to the sewage system and provide a guarantee for their products.
