Plastic windows do not lose their popularity from the moment of their appearance until now, and all because these products stand out favorably against the background of their predecessors with wooden frames and glass. Each person will surely feel the difference immediately after installation, but having become the happy owner of such a treasure, the question arises in the minds of many people: "How and what can I clean plastic windows?".

I must say that for the seasonal cleaning of plastic windows, special effort is not necessary. Unlike glass analogs with a wooden frame, they do not require periodic painting and insulation. The only thing you need is to wash the window sills and remove dirt from the glass, but here you have to follow some rules.

Cleaning immediately after installation

Do not think that immediately after the arrival of specialists and the dismantling of old window designs, your new plastic products will look like new. Upon completion, the film remains on the surface of the profile, and on the glass - various stains from adhesive tape, foam and other materials that were used in the process. Do not postpone general cleaning of windows for weekends or free time. The glue, which keeps the protective film on the windows, may turn yellow and dry under the influence of direct sunlight, and such contamination after a week will be extremely problematic. In addition, during this time dust from the street will stick to it. And if the glass can be cleaned with the help of any alcohol-containing spray, then the profiles in this matter are more demanding and capricious.

The concept of a window includes such components as profile, fittings, glass and even a gasket, therefore, wondering how to clean plastic windows from dirt, all these aspects should be taken into account.

If the window sill has turned yellow, this can and must be fought. The yellowed product should be treated with the previously described means to remove dirt from the foam. A mixture of perhydrol and bleach powder also helps. At 0.5 liters of water, dissolve one tablespoon of perhydrol and the same amount of powdered bleach. Cover the surface of the windows with a solution, rub the surface with a cloth and dry thoroughly. If the yellowing is not gone, repeat the procedure again.
